What a Day at Pukekohe Senior Friendship Centre!

Our members had a full day of fun, laughter, and connection! From morning tea and games to crafts, chats, and plenty of smiles, it’s days like these that remind us how special our community truly is.

What a treat we had this morning at the Remuera Friendship Centre, a special visit from the talented Sharyn Donn from Twisted Faces!

Our members were delighted by her amazing balloon twisting skills, creative designs, and warm energy. You brought so many smiles to our centre today, thank you for sharing your magic with us!

Surprise 90th Birthday Celebration!

Howick Friendship Centre had the absolute privilege of hosting a surprise 90th birthday party for our beloved member, Jean!

It was a truly special occasion, made even more memorable by the presence of some of Jean’s wonderful family who joined us to celebrate this incredible milestone.

Jean, your warmth and wisdom light up our Centre, we’re so lucky to have you in our community.

This week, Henderson Centre made butterflies using coffee filters, felt tips, a wooden peg and pipe cleaner plus the much enjoyed Scrabble, pop up library, adult colouring, Bingo, beach ball fun and chair exercises to Old Time Rock'n'roll!

Forever Fit at Pakuranga Friendship Centre!

Our seniors are staying strong, flexible, and fabulous with the Forever Fit Mind and Body programme and today’s session featured fun and energizing scarf exercises!

These gentle movements help improve coordination, circulation, and bring lots of smiles. It’s all about staying active, connected, and joyful in a supportive community.

Auckland Mobile Libraries Pop-Up Library at Remuera Friendship Centre!

We had a wonderful visit from Alola, who brought the magic of the local library right to our members! She shared a fantastic selection of books available to borrow and gave us the inside scoop on upcoming events happening at the library. From book clubs to tech help sessions, there’s something for everyone!

These visits are all about community connection—bringing people together, sharing stories, and opening doors to new opportunities.
