Music might do more than move our souls—it could help fight cancer. Scientists found that Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 destroyed 20% of cancer cells in lab tests, while leaving healthy cells untouched.

Another piece, Ligeti’s “Atmosphères,” showed similar effects, hinting that certain compositions might carry healing powers science is just starting to explore.

Dr. Márcia Alves Marques Capella and her team in Rio de Janeiro are expanding their research, testing rhythms like Samba and Funk to find nature’s own soundtrack for healing.

We are back in the warm and cozy Kapiti Hot Yoga studio this upcoming Tuesday at 7.30pm. Yay!...for a Sound bath healing session under the expansive energy of the Sagittarius full moon.
No yoga! But comfy clothes/layers are ideal as the studio is nice and warm.
This fiery full moon invites us to release limitations and reconnect with our truth. We’ll begin with sacred breath and guided visualisation, then melt into the healing frequencies of crystal bowls and Reiki healing designed to bring clarity, alignment and a beautiful energetic reset.

What a lovely Sunday at the Paekākāriki Wellness Fair! 🌿✨
It was such a joy to be part of this beautiful gathering of wellness, creativity and community. 😊💚 Plus a real blessing to share sound healing with so many open-hearted souls.

Big thanks to everyone who stopped by for a chat, a session, or just to share good vibes. Even with the rain falling all day, the energy inside was warm, welcoming and fun.
