Please watch to the end.
Beginner (option 1) - Closer to the ground & more use of the hands as support.
Intermediate (option 2) - Bodyweight transfers & less use of hands, sometime no hands.
Advanced (option 3) - Not often used. But I’ll offer occasionally.
Bring - A yoga mat, grip and helps with mind mapping & body placement.
Weights -
Hand 0.5 - 1kg max
Ankle 0.5 - 1kg max (optional)
*please no heavier to avoid a light lumber. Focus on technique
Knee pain? Please bring a thick towel
Wrist pain? Please bring a thick towel or double the yoga mat as per video demo.
Alignment
- ears and shoulders are not friends
- avoid sinking into joints by lifting and pushing the ground away as resistance
- stack shoulders over wrists, knees over hips as I demo. *unless I shift to deliberately put you off balance.
- use the feet, top of feet push into the ground and whole shin to avoid knee taking unnecessary pressure.
Please follow along. Place your mat the same direction as mine & face the same way I do to make it easier to copy.
Wear loose comfortable clothing. Get out of your head and just move!
