🌿 My body feels stronger (goodbye chicken legs 👋—hello toned legs!).
🌿 I’ve learned so much more about food—even though I thought I had it all figured out after 18 years on a food journey!
🌿 I’ve swapped the endless potatoes and daily chocolate for nourishing alternatives that actually give me energy.

But the changes go deeper than the physical.

💫 I’ve proven to myself that I do have resilience.
💫 I’ve uncovered self-belief I thought I’d lost.
💫 I’ve reconnected with my dreams, excitement, and zest for life.

One of the greatest gifts of this journey has been the support and community. Witnessing people completely transform their lives—their courage, vulnerability, and strength—moves me to tears again and again.

I'm preparing for the 'UNBOUND' book club beginning Monday 25th August. I have four spaces left if you would like to join us.

I started reading this book in an online book club with some of my gorgeous Kairos Sisters, and honestly… my mind was blown 🤯

First big “wow” moment:
👉 Kasia is both a Taoist nun and a Do******ix. YES, really.

As she speaks, I feel her words land in my body like truth-bombs.
💥 It’s that strange, powerful feeling of:
“How did I not know this already?”

Then comes the wave.
🌊 That overwhelming now-what moment:
How do I change this?
How do I create a new way of being—after living this way for so long?
…And how do I do it not alone?

Because I can’t do this on my own.
And I don’t want to do it alone either.

So—this is what I want to offer you:

✨ 8 Weeks of Becoming UNBOUND ✨
In a small, intimate group, we’ll meet for 2 hours each week.

📖 We’ll listen to Kasia read some of her book aloud.
💬 We’ll discuss, feel, unpack.
🖊️ And we’ll do the exercises together—the ones we so often skip when we read alone.

Because let’s be honest:
Yes, it’s easy to read a book.

Distraction! 🌧️✨

This morning on my walk, two things happened 👇

#1. I was so proud of myself for getting out of bed and walking in the rain. (I swear I have a fear of getting wet 😂). But I did it anyway. Every time I push through like this, I’m building resilience and proving to myself that I am so much more than I thought. 💪

#2 A sign literally jumped out at me.
Now here’s the thing… I walk past it at least 3–6 times every morning!

Today it spoke right to me:

👉 How often do we bypass because of heaviness?

That heaviness might be:
⚖️ Extra physical weight
💔 Unprocessed emotions
🧠 Old beliefs about who we are (that aren’t true)

All of these can distract us and pull us off our path. They stop us from living a full life.

I’ve let distraction run my life for years.
I’ve let beliefs stop me.
I’ve let jobs pull me away from my purpose.
I’ve used my kids, my health, my mental health as reasons to stay small.
And honestly? I’ve been scared of where the road might take me if I fully committed.

But here’s the shift: being in the incredible health program with the beautiful community that supports whole-person health has shown me how distracted I’ve been.

Yes, the fear is still there.
But now so is the belief. 🌿✨

Wobbly at times, but it’s there.
And I know I can.
I know I have to.
Because people need what I have to offer. 💖

🌿 Week Five & Feeling Alive 🌿

At the start of this year, I made a quiet promise to myself — to tend to my physical health, nourish my body better, build strength, and move more.
Especially as I navigate the ever-shifting tides of perimenopause, I wanted to feel stronger, more grounded, and more connected to myself.

One of the biggest changes?
✨ I get up early and walk. Every. Single. Morning.

No matter the weather, I’m out there. And it’s been such a gift!
I’ve discovered that I do have resilience. That I can keep a commitment to myself. And that my body is slowly, beautifully, gaining strength.

But the greatest gift? Being outside in those first quiet moments of the day.
When the world is still.
When the moon and stars keep you company.
When the sky shifts and the first blush of sun peeks over the horizon.

In my business — The Healing Heart — everything is rooted in Connection, Nature, and Rhythms & Cycles.
These morning walks have deepened all three.

With every lap I notice:
🌙 The changing moon
✨ The stars fading into dawn
🌳 Trees holding steady in the wind
🎶 Birds calling in the day
🌞 The sun rising earlier and earlier

All of it feeds me — body, heart, and soul.

🌿 I Am Light 🌿

This morning, a song carried me into my workday — the same song that, years ago, gave me permission to release the weight of carrying responsibility for everyone else.

It reminded me that I am not the things my family did
I am not the voices in my head.
I am not the broken pieces inside.
✨ I am light. ✨

Many years later, it still calls me back to the truth of who I am — beneath the conditioning, beneath the old stories, beneath the lies I often believe.

• Don’t show too much joy — people will think you're too much
• Hide your sadness — it makes others uncomfortable

🗣️ Voice & Communication
• Don’t speak unless spoken to
• Tone it down — you’re being too loud
• Be polite, even when you're uncomfortable
• Don’t argue — it's not “ladylike”
• Say "yes" even when you mean "no"

🙅‍♀️ Boundaries & People-Pleasing
• Always put others first — it's selfish not to
• Don’t say no — that’s rude
• Be nice, even when someone crosses your line
• It’s your job to make others feel better

🧠 Intuition & Inner Knowing
• Logic is more valid than feelings
• Don't trust your gut — follow the rules instead
• If someone in authority says so, they must be right
• Your body is wrong — ignore what it’s telling you

🧍‍♀️ Body & Appearance
• Be pretty, but not too sexy
• Cover up — but don’t be frumpy
• Be thin, smooth, desirable, but effortless

🎓 Performance & Achievement
• Get it right. Always.
• Don’t fail — it's embarrassing
• Be the best, but don’t brag about it
• You’re only worthy if you’re productive or helpful

• Be who they need you to be
• Don’t change too much — stay consistent for others
• Stay small so others don’t feel threatened
• Hide the weird, wild, messy parts of you
• Don’t shine too brightly — it’ll make others uncomfortable

So tell me… how the hell do I “be myself” now?

Who even is that?

I’ve spent decades becoming who I thought I needed to be — to be loved, accepted, safe.

For the past two years I've been on a journey of unraveling!

I am learning . . .
Not to be the people pleaser
Not to be the perfectionist.
Not to be the good girl and always get it right.

And for me?
It’s been a slow process.
Full of tenderness, discomfort, and deep remembering.

🌀 It’s taken time.
🌀 It’s taken compassion.
🌀 And I’ve needed support — I haven’t done this alone.

But each time I shed a layer of who I was told to be,
I feel myself getting closer to the woman I was always meant to be.

She’s not polite.
She’s not perfect.
She’s powerful.
And she’s free.

I don’t have it all figured out!
But every time I speak honestly…
Every time I listen to my body instead of overriding it…
Every time I choose myself…
I meet her — the real me — again.

She’s been waiting.

I've been taught . . .

🔹 Obedience
🔹 Politeness
🔹 And to make others feel comfortable over self-expression and truth

You're

🔹Too loud
🔹Too sensitive
🔹Too much
🔹Not enough

So tell me… how the hell do I “be myself” now?

Who even is that?

I want to be really clear, unlearning the conditioning isn’t about blame😕

It’s not an invitation to project bitterness onto those who raised us, taught us, or shaped us.

They were doing their best.
Trying to meet the expectations they inherited from a society that told them the same things.

✨ Be quiet.
✨ Be good.
✨ Be nice.
✨ Don’t make waves.

They passed it on — not out of harm, but out of habit.
Because it was all they knew.

But this moment — right now — is not about them.

It’s about us.
It’s about going within.
Reclaiming who we truly are beneath the layers.
Letting the unravelling happen.
