Seafood can be incredibly nourishing — especially for brain, heart and hormonal health 🐟
But how we choose it matters too.

Choosing sustainable, local seafood supports ocean health, future food supply and our own wellbeing. It doesn’t need to be complicated — small, thoughtful choices really do add up.

THE UNCONSCIOUS ADVANTAGE

Most of what you do each day is guided by your unconscious mind — long before you’re aware of making a decision.

That doesn’t mean you’re out of control.
It means your system is efficient.

When change feels hard, it’s often because your unconscious mind is doing its job: protecting you, conserving energy and keeping you safe based on what it’s learned over time.

Often it’s not a crisis.
It’s feeling tired despite rest.
Knowing what would help, but struggling to do it consistently.
Or realising you’ve been caring for everyone else and quietly putting yourself last.

Seeking support isn’t about weakness or dependence.
It’s about gaining clarity, perspective and practical tools to move forward in a way that feels sustainable.

Summer doesn’t automatically mean we’re well supported.

Hot weather increases hydration needs, and sun exposure doesn’t always provide enough vitamin D to sustain us through winter. When hydration, minerals and sun habits aren’t balanced, energy dips and brain fog are common.

Summer routines can feel wonderfully relaxed, but they often mean more meals on the go and long stretches outside in the heat.
If your energy dips suddenly on picnic days or during outdoor activities, it’s usually your body asking for a little more support.

A simple approach that makes a real difference is balancing:

protein for satiety

colour (fruits and vegetables) for hydration and antioxidants

regular fluid intake to support your nervous system
