Update – our petition to ban character references during the sentencing of s*xual offenders has now reached 7,000 signatures.

7,000 people who agree that “good character” should never outweigh the harm done to a survivor.
7,000 people who believe the justice system must do better.
7,000 voices saying enough is enough.

This is a huge milestone – but we are not finished.

The petition remains open until the end of April, and we need as many signatures as possible if we want real change. Every name strengthens our call for a justice system that prioritises survivors over the reputation of offenders.
