The Lions Club of Wainuiomata helps those in our community that need a helping Hand. Lions Club of Wainuiomata is all about the Community.

Even though we are small in number we are strong in Spirit and we are growing.

We are involved in many local projects to raise funds to put back into the community. We do like to run a regular garage sale which is always popular and is a great way to reuse goods that would otherwise be wasted. We have also held a book fair to raise money for local Schools and worthy causes and We loved to cook meals for the residents of Ronald McDonald House, for families from other areas of NZ that have members in Hospital. Our Club is also involved in other projects like raising money for cancer drivers, Collecting aluminum cans, Old cell phones and spectacles. We also help with individual People. We Love meeting new people and you are most welcome to visit us on A Tueday night every 2nd and Fourth week at the Louise Bilderbeck Hall, Main Rd, Wainuiomata

Members of the Lions Club of Wainuiomata attended the Mighty 202m Lions gathering at Te Raukura Ki Kāpiti Performing Arts Centre in Paraparaumu.
The event featured the official opening, guest speakers Brendon Nicholls and Abbas Nazari, keynote presentations, breakout sessions, and district awards.
Members also enjoyed the Dine & Dance at Southward Car Museum, and attended the memorial service at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home to remember Lions who have served. 🦁

Anda special presentation for our top secretary who recieved the Melvin Jones Fellowship award for recognition of outstanding service to the Lions organisation & the community at large.
