Everyone seems to be coming down with something at the moment.

But in clinic, what I see over and over isn’t “weak immune systems” - it’s bodies that have been under load for a long time: poor sleep, constant tension, never really switching off.

Long-term stress disrupts your immune response, raises inflammation and makes it harder for your body to repair itself properly.

The work we do together in treatment, whether that’s acupuncture, massage or osteopathy, is about helping your nervous system shift out of stress so your body can rest and recover.

In between sessions, the basics matter more than any supplement: sleep, real rest, gentle movement that doesn’t exhaust you, and staying hydrated.

Turns out, 2–4 cups of coffee a day might actually support heart health. There’s a theory (that I’m totally getting behind) that the benefits are even stronger in the morning — when stress hormones and inflammatory cytokines peak — making it the perfect time for coffee’s anti-inflammatory magic to do its thing.

But here's the kicker: those heart-loving perks disappear if you’re sipping it all day long — late coffee = poor sleep = chaos for the body.

So I’ll be keeping my coffee before noon and soaking up those health perks… one peaceful sip at a time.
