This Week’s Focus: Jaw Tension & Teeth Clenching
Did you know jaw tension is one of the most overlooked causes of headaches, neck pain, and shoulder tightness?
Stress doesn’t just sit in your shoulders…
It often hides in your jaw.
🌿 Signs you might be holding tension there:
• Waking up with a tight face
• Clicking or popping when opening your mouth
• Frequent headaches
• Clenching during the day (without realising)
✨ This week’s mini reset:
✔️ Let your tongue rest gently at the roof of your mouth
✔️ Keep your teeth slightly apart (lips closed, teeth relaxed)
✔️ Massage the jaw muscles in small circles for 30 seconds
✔️ Take a slow breath and consciously “unclench”
Relaxed jaw = relaxed nervous system.
Sometimes the smallest muscles hold the biggest stress 💆♀️💚
