Given my love of weights I couldn’t help purchasing the Listener when I saw this headline. Weights have been a game changer for me and many others who join me 3 times a week to lift. The research is showing benefits beyond building skeletal muscle, but also for a healthy brain and an increased quality of life as we age. Gyms are reducing their cardio suites in favour of weights to meet demand. If gyms are not your thing come join me and our fabulous community for your strength training.
