What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.

Mindfulness, used as a therapeutic technique, connects us with the present in such a way that it allows people to discover habitual thought patterns and automatic behaviours. Mindfulness is a way of living in the present, rather than regretting the past or worrying about the future.

I want to empower others and provide hope when hope may feel, lost. I want to inspire people to live with freedom.
