Kia ora Whānau,

Tomorrow night, we have Emma Wright coming to talk about how to equip ourselves and our kids with the tools to build resilience and have a healthy relationship with their bodies (where was this 43 years ago?!). I’m also up for strategies to manage screen time!

*Raising Body Confident Kids in the Digital Age* is coming to Rāroa Intermediate! Bought to you by Churton Park Primary Home and School Association.

Tomorrow, Wed 25 October at Rāroa Intermediate.

An event for parents, teachers and coaches

⇒ 90% of teens report that Body Image is one of their biggest concerns.

⇒ 73% say it stops them from engaging in physical activity.

⇒ Schools and parents report that their biggest challenges are kids' mental health and behaviour around devices.

Emma's talk will arm you with practical tools and strategies to help your child build resilience to damaging messages, self-manage screen use and have a healthy relationship with their body.

Kia ora Whānau,

This Friday is Family Fun Night. After wild weather and a cancellation it’s finally happening!

This is a great way to connect with your school community. Come at 5 with a picnic blanket and bring money for dinner and fun - we’ll have pizza, drinks and lollies and there will be a sausage sizzle. We’ll have an ice cream truck, bouncy castle and face painting.

See you at 5!

23/02/2023

Hi Everyone
It will come as no surprise to you that with such cold, wet and windy weather, Family Fun Night is cancelled this week.

We are just seeing if we can move to another date and will be in touch.

Keep warm!
Nashwa
