With a 130 seat modern chapel with a market leading full surround sound system throughout the funeral chapel and lounge area, large 75" TV screens situated at the front of the chapel to display photo tributes. Our chapel is also fully air conditioned and air ventilated. Located in a quiet residential area
with plenty of on site (30 +) and street parking. Our premises is fully wheelchair friendly with nice open plan layout so you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Gateway funerals can also provide a spacious modern facility where after service refreshments can be held and catering can be served at the adjacent lounge. We understand the importance of comfort at this time, we offer our self contained comfy family room to you which has a kitchen, bathroom and lounge so you and your family are comfortable while arrangements take place. Additionally we have two private viewing rooms which include an extended hours room so you can view at your convenience. With facility's in both Whakatane and Kawerau we really do have the Eastern Bay of Plenty community at the forefront of our minds when it comes to supplying the best funeral care for our community.
