Term 3 yoga classes will start again, twice weekly from today Tuesday 15th July. However, due to hall rennovations, there will be no class on the first Thursday 17th July. We will run an extra Thursday class at the end of the term to make up for it.

Pre-pay for the full term or buy a 10-class pass to take that cost down to only $15 per class. You can book and pay for all classes and pass types on the Ngunguru Yoga website.

I am part way through MY (Menopause Yoga) Teacher Training with Petra Coveney in the UK. Menopause Yoga is the world’s 1st professionally accredited yoga and wellbeing programme supporting people through their menopause - and beyond.​ The Menopause Yoga programme unites western medical science with eastern wellbeing to support your mind, body and emotions.

The training includes specially modified yoga poses, breathing techniques and meditation practices to help with menopause symptoms alongside evidence-based medical health, nutrition, natural remedies and wellbeing guidance. Workshops can also include womens circles and journalling.

I am looking forward to sharing these new learnings with you all in special weekend workshops and classes once my training is complete around the beginning of August.

Times are tough , we see you.

Life can feel heavy, stretched, and overwhelming. Sometimes just having a quiet space to breathe and reset can make all the difference.

We’re offering a free or koha-based 30-minute sauna session, no questions asked, no pressure. It’s our way of giving back to the community and holding space for those who might be doing it hard right now.

The first session will be this Sunday at 1:30pm in Whangaumu, and we’ll be offering the same each week for the rest of the month. All are welcome.

Spots are limited, so please only book if this offering truly supports where you're at.
