Mama has shown me every post and read every story you shared and will take me out to see if I can spots 😉 them myself.

Thank you uncle for looking after our taiao for me and my generation and those to come, and sharing and teaching others so we can help look after nga Atua Māori too 💪💞

Mahi Roy has done at Kura (school) celebrating te wiki o te reo Māori ✨

Roy loves both his cultures, it's important to dad and I to keep passing on our traditions, many may over look how important this is for our boy, because of his diagnosis, but for us that diagnosis is only his physical diagnosis, it doesn't change his wairua (spiritual) make up or his hinengaro (his deep mental connection) or his connection to whenua and whānau.
He feels it, he is it !
He is the kakano of not only our whakapapa, tupuna and Rangatira, but not just to us he also has his toto (blood) line that intertwines our worlds, it will forever run deep, ake ake ake

Whānau here in Aotearoa New Zealand we are celebrating 50 years of Te wiki o te reo Māori.
Roy has had a very busy week celebrating that we haven't had a chance to come on here and mihi to you all.

This is important to us, because if it wasn't for the 14/09 when our people marched to Parliament and challenge the government of that day we wouldn't be able ENJOY the beautiful sound of our language, they marched with mana and a version of the future.

Today we have more people speaking te reo, it's in our schools, in our early childhood centers, we hear it on TV hear it on the radio. This week is a reminder to everyone to just give it a go, if you have lots of reo or just a little bit, korerotia.

Hi team 👋

Took a couple of weeks off building my son's platform to breath 😁 and reconnected within our four walls.

The core of my belief systems starts within my home, so when my home is unbalanced I step away from my mahi on here to ensure my foundation at home is strong, ensuring our spiritual well-being, physical and mental well-being is taken care of.

Hope everyone been okay 👍.

Alot has been happening in the world around us, and especially here in New Zealand, this highlights why it's so important to ensure our homes are our safe zones, 🙏

Roy is doing well, here in NZ we are only weeks from school holidays, we had a beautiful Father's day humble but special 💞.

Excited to learn about the beautiful opportunities Roy will get to do now he is of age and is part of Parafed Northland.
Looking forward to Halberg Games 2026.
We got to meet two amazing young men that went this year, Roy did a mission with batman.
