☘️ St Patrick’s Day Celebrations at The Falls Estate ☘️

What a fantastic afternoon we had celebrating St Patrick’s Day on Tuesday! 💚

With great music setting the tone, plenty of laughter, and a wonderful turnout from our residents, the atmosphere was simply buzzing. From our best dressed competition (you all looked amazing in your green!) to the clever and cheeky limericks that had everyone smiling, it truly was a day full of fun and community spirit.

Events like these are a great reminder of just how special our community is here at The Falls Estate — full of warmth, laughter, and people who know how to enjoy the moment together.

We’re already looking forward to the next one! ☘️💃🎶

Every Friday morning our lounge comes alive thanks to Bett Harvey and her wonderful Sit Fit class 💛

Bett has such a special way of making exercise feel like fun rather than effort. With music, laughter and plenty of encouragement, residents enjoy a gentle but effective workout — all from the comfort and safety of a chair.

Sit Fit helps improve strength, flexibility, circulation and balance, all while building confidence and connection. But just as important as the physical benefits is the joy in the room — the smiles, the banter, and the sense of community.

Thank you, Bett, for bringing your energy and heart to our village each week. We absolutely love our Friday mornings! 🌟

✨ Total Care by Access – Presentation Update ✨

Total Care by Access visited The Falls Estate this week and shared valuable information about their services, including Home Care 🏡, Disability Support ♿, Injury Support & Rehabilitation 💪, and Nursing Services, such as Wound Care 🩹. It was an incredibly informative session, and our residents asked thoughtful and engaging questions 👏.

Today, Alison popped in and I could hear the giggles all the way to my office 😂. I walked in just in time to see her rocking pigtails.🎀

We think it’s absolutely adorable! 🥰 These little moments are what brighten our day 🌟💛

There’s nothing quite like the joy and energy that swing dancing brings to our Village! Every session is filled with smiling faces, quick feet, and plenty of laughter as residents twirl, sway, and step their way around the floor.

✨ Our residents don’t just enjoy the music—they live it! Many love taking part in swing dancing events, joining in with enthusiasm and showing that staying active can be fun, social, and full of sparkle.

🎶 Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or simply curious to give it a go, swing dancing is a wonderful way to keep moving, meet new people, and share a bit of joy. Every session brings a chuckle, a story, and a chance to enjoy the moment together.

David has been showing off his incredible talent again — last Friday it was the harp ✨, with John happily enjoying the rehearsal right alongside him.

Residents are more than welcome to come along to any of David’s rehearsals. He loves having company, and it’s a great way to add a little sparkle to your day! 🌟

🎄✨ Judy’s Christmas Jaunt – Final Trip for 2025! ✨🎄

What an absolute treat! Yesterday, 26 lucky residents headed out on the final 'Judy’s Jaunt' (monthly Village outing) of 2025 — a festive Christmas trip to the beautiful Waipu Golf Club. And what a way to wrap up the year… it truly went out with a bang! 💥😄

To make it even more fun, nobody knew where we were going! 🤫🎁 As we travelled along, there were plenty of guesses — some close, some very creative — adding lots of laughs and excitement on the journey 🚐😂.

The views were stunning 🌤️⛳, the food was absolutely scrumptious 🍽️😋, and the atmosphere was just fantastic — full of laughter, good company, and plenty of Christmas cheer 🎅🎁.

We were thoroughly looked after by the friendly club staff, who made the whole experience feel extra special 🌟.

There were even lucky dips, and a few fortunate residents walked away with a little something extra 🎁🍀 — adding even more fun to an already memorable outing.
