Advantage Austria Oman had the pleasure of attending the Investment Forum introductory event, hosted by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The session offered a great preview of the main Forum coming up in February 2026.

The hall was filled with an engaging crowd! It was great to see many familiar faces, including several commercial representatives from EU embassies based in Oman.

Austria and Oman are taking cooperation to the next level! 🇦🇹🇴🇲

An Austrian delegation visited Muscat last week to explore opportunities in mining, transport, tourism, education, taxation, and digitalisation — including cyber security and forensic services in discussions with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transport, Communications & IT, Ministry of Commerce MoCIIP, Oman Chamber of Commerce, MoHigher Education, Ministry of Tourism and Heritage, Oman Investment Authority and the Royal Oman Police.
The programme also featured a Doing Business in Oman presentation, offering Austrian companies insight into the market environment, regulations, and opportunities.

Among the highlights was the signing of an MoU between Green Tech Mining & Services and Nuhas Oman, witnessed by H.E. Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan and Austrian Vice Minister Mr. Andreas Reichhardt. This agreement supports Oman’s Industrial Strategy 2040 by boosting ICV and creating opportunities for Omani talent.
Together, Austria and Oman are building sustainable partnerships for shared growth and innovation. 🌍✨
