Silence is the oldest healing technology we know- older than language, older than fire.

It’s how the soul speaks, and how the earth sings.
But in a world addicted to noise, we have forgotten. Intoxicated by endless striving, worshiping productivity, numbing discomfort with endless motion, we have confused distraction for purpose.

We are consuming more than ever before, yet starving.
We achieve, take, consume, achieve more… yet feel empty.

We have forgotten how to listen — to ourselves, to the land, to the spirit that lives beneath it all. That which actually nourishes our deeper yearning to connect, to feel, to be guided.

The rivers, the sacred waters, the vines, the stones — they carry the living memory of a way of life rooted in authentic richness. One that doesn’t ask us to achieve anything or DO anything to deserve its richness. That which is always and unconditionally available to hold and feed us.

So why are we running away from nature?

Healing is not something we force by doing, yet we’re all trying so hard.

Healing is something the earth gives us freely, when we humble down and quiet ourselves, we become open once again to receive.

In many Native languages the term for plants directly translates to ‘those who take care of us.’

This ocean, this jungle is not just a backdrop for another experience— it is a living, breathing teacher. An intelligence waiting to infuse us with a type of nourishment we’re all yearning for. Wherever you are, it’s right outside your door.

So why are so many of us looking in all the wrong places?

Why do we hold so tightly to a world that is breaking our bodies, our spirits, and our connection to each other?

What would it mean to loosen our grip… and return to something older, truer, and more alive?

The ancient and original ways are waiting for us— the ways of listening, feeling, quieting, receiving. A life so tender and still we hear all the wisdom we need speaking through nature herself.

If you are ready to sit with the earth, to be shaped by her hands, and to remember the sacredness within you, we welcome you.

Has modernity truly served you?
And if not, why are so many of us resisting letting it go?

30/03/2025

We live in a culture that denies grief at all costs.

We rush to move on.
We pathologize and medicate sorrow.
We distract at all cost.
We bury the aching hurt of our losses beneath busyness, consumption, numbing.

No matter how much we stuff on top of it, the unprocessed grief does not disappear.

It lingers in the body and manifests as anxiety, depression, illness, physical pain, or a quiet disconnection from life itself… that eventually grows so loud we disconnect from the body entirely to function.

An entire lifetime, upon other lifetimes, upon an entire culture of unprocessed grief… It seems overwhelming and impossible to face at all, so we keep stuffing.

When we cut ourselves off from the sorrow inside, we sever our capacity for love and connection, for life to move through us. The pipes rust and rot… our attempt to quiet the ‘bad’ has blanketed a thick fog over entire human experience.

Now, cut off from love and connection - we have even less capacity to turn towards our grief, the cycle repeats, illness ensues… so we take more medication or self-medicate with our phones.

But maybe we aren’t just flawed or weak - maybe it is the inherent isolation and the lack of community and sacred ritual in our current society at the root cause of this insidious disease.

Grief is not, nor ever has been, meant to be carried or processed alone. It is meant to be felt, honored, and expressed — in community. Our pain yearns to be witnessed and held with love, reminding us that the desire to carry our burdens alone is only another symptom of the same illness.

When we allow ourselves to be supported and nourished - so we actually can grieve fully… We awaken. Our hearts crack open, and in that rawness, we remember what it means to be truly alive again.

The medicine guides us into these tender places, breaking crust and unraveling knots of sorrow we’ve long tucked away, singing healing and liberation into the cobweb-laden spaces we’ve have gone silent and starving.

To walk the path of returning to wholeness, we must embrace grief as sacred, we let it move through us, and in doing so, we reclaim the depth of our full-feeling humanity that is our birthright.

As the light returns 🌞 so do we 💫

This Spring Equinox, step into a sacred journey of deep healing with Shipibo Ay@huasca medicine and dynamic breathwork practices to help you shed old energy, activate your life force, and align with your highest intentions.

Guided by Master Shipibo healers, the very beacons of light themselves - and - we invite you into our intimate medicine circle to reclaim your inner radiance as we celebrate the return of Spring in the jungle of Costa Rica 🌿

This is not just a retreat, but a ceremony of *rebirth* - a chance to awaken the sacred fire within as we sync our bodies with the natural cycle of the Earth.

In ancient calendars amongst indigenous people who lived in tune with nature and its natural rhythms, the spring equinox is the natural new year. Instead of trying to force and propel ourselves forward in the cold winter days of January to create new change, they saw the wisdom in connecting with nature and celebrated the new year in March, as the return of life and Sun brought forth natural motivation, fire, and activation for moving forward with new beginnings and seeds planted.

Since ancient time, the spring equinox has been honored as a rite of passage — a threshold between dark and light, death and rebirth. This retreat is a ceremonial gateway, inviting you to cross into a new season of your life and leave the old behind.

14/01/2025

Ayni is a Quechua (indigenous Peruvian) word meaning reciprocal energetic flow or ‘the same’. It is a teaching, a memory, a truth, which our teachers in the high Andes Mountains remember as a principle of enlightened living, a source of Life in their isolated mountain communities.

Ayni is more than reciprocity. It is the memory that being in community — with other humans, with our greater communities, the Earth itself, requires that we maintain a delicate balance of giving and receiving, lest we create imbalance and disease from giving or taking too much.

Ayni invites us to consider our well-being as integral to the whole, but no more important than another’s. Ayni teaches the Qeros that when a family needs a house, the whole community comes to build it. It keeps the delicate balance of Earth’s ecosystems in tact, feeds the ancestors, and nourishes families — mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically.”

Perfect wisdom today from my beloved teacher

Ayni, the invisible thread that connects us to one other, the Earth, and all living beings, but we have forgotten.

This wisdom reminds us spirituality is not something we do, it’s a way of life. It’s in how we honor the Earth that sustains us, relationships that nourish us, and Spirit that guides us.

It asks us to live in balance
To not just take but give
Not just consume but create

As communities around us crumble and the Earth wails in suffering, humanity aches for healing.

But too often we get lost in this corrupt paradigm, over-consuming spirituality like another product. Taking ceremonies, taking traditions, and not giving back. Yoga becomes another hour on a schedule to stay fit, meditation - another box to check in hopes to cure anxiety before heading back to our lives of workaholism and consumerism.

Our culture is diseased.
We need to go deeper.

Ayni calls us to embody reciprocity once again and live in authentic alignment. As we healing ourselves, we *must* heal each other, and the planet, as one.

Healing has never been a personal journey. Now is a time to weave reciprocity and community into the fabric of every choice we make.

Otherwise, what will become of us?

Our hearts are full of bittersweet love today as we send .magick off, away from her home in Latin America, to the otherside of the world for new initiations.

This sister has been a gift from God this year to Anam Cara.

Endless moments of richness, practice, ritual, embodiment, ancient & new wisdom, literal somatic healing magic, and too-many-to-count teachings… teachings so close to the earth they brought us all home, time and time again 🌿

Having an experienced somatic therapist on-site at our ayahuasca retreats has been an absolute game changer. Why? Because the body *remembers*

When big emotions and trauma surface in this work, a skilled somatic therapist helps you *safely* release what’s been stored in your system—without further overwhelm and fracture.

Through nervous system regulation, embodied practices, and skilled guidance, they help you ground *into* your body and actually anchor in the powerful teachings of ayahuasca. This is the deeper, embodied work that shifts medicine experiences from just insight to *real* integration - where true healing happens🌀

The safety and skill Zaia’s presence brought this year instantly deepend our ceremonies and filled the space with sacredness, song, and dance. All of our transmissions as space holders evolved this year because of it.

Z 🌿 our living reminder, of what is looks like to live in true devotion, close to the Earth, sacrificing the comforts of modern life and reminding us all that a simpler, intentional, more authentic way of living is not just possible, but a glorious offering.

It’s not easy to find humans that are truly safe, resilient, capable, humble, energetically clean, skilled, devoted, and willing to put up with the sacrifice and madness of working in a medicine space (especially with us 😂) - our facilitation team went through a fierce alignment process this year when we brought Zaia back in, and it was a leveling up of a lifetime for us. The plants rejoiced, we evolved, and our guests benefited the most.

This angel will be back in the Spring for more magic🌈

We 🤍 you sister. Thank you.

To *all* of you
And all the many parts that live within you
The beautiful bits
The breakthroughs
The miracles witnessed
The intentions laid bare on the altar

The broken parts
The half written stories
The songs unsong
The spirit babies still on their way to Earth

To the lineages healed
The stories reclaimed
The futures altered
The dreams fully spoken into existence

To your families
Your family’s families
Your ancestors
Your children
And all of your relations

It was a delicate, profound, awe-inspiring, hell of an initiation
To serve you this year
To heal beside you
To hold your hand
To giggle with you in the bathroom
To wipe your puke off the floor
To eat bananas with you by candlelight
To learn to grieve, scream, dance, breathe, and love more deeply

All to witness you unfurl
Into a deeper becoming
A bolder expression
A reclaimed voice of wisdom
A truer version of your divine Self
So we can unfurl into truer versions of our Selves

Self healing is self liberation, and it isn’t always done in glamorous, psychedelic, and high stimulatory moments…

At least 90% of the work is done the quiet moments, the every day, the mundane. The secret conversations we are willing to have with ourselves, the practice no one will ever see. The ways we learn to soften, turn towards pain, loving reparent and bring home the parts that have been exiled and cast aside… will determine the health of our inner kingdom.

Self-inquiry is the key to breaking patterns, freedom, and wholeness ✨ Done in both body and mind, feeling and thought.

🏔️ Apu Ausangate, overlooking Cusco, Peru - where my own journey with medicine started. This mountain embodies profound wisdom, and yesterday we went to show our devotion.

In the Quechua culture of the Peruvian Andes, the practice of making offerings, or ‘despacho’, deepens our connection with these sacred beings. 🥀

We show devotion by hiking to sacred sites with gifts to offer, nourishing our relationship with the spirit of the mountain.

Cultivating a relationship with nature is at the heart of this spiritual path. For us, connecting with the majestic mountains of Peru is an integral part of preparing for our retreats. It allows us to ground ourselves and strengthen the supportive energy we hold for our guests during their ceremonies.

Yesterday, at the foot of Apu Ausangate, we were blessed with a beautiful transmission of the mountain’s energy and wisdom. It was clear, open, and joyous—an elegant expression of stillness, groundedness, and the immovable foundation that is needed to create an honorable container for high vibrational and ethereal states of openness, wonder, light, joy, and even ecstasy.

This mountain, which I’ve visited many times, once again offered an incredible gift. When we approach these divine beings with humility, love, and reciprocity, they bless us abundantly. They shower us with transmissions that heal and expand us.

This is the essence of Anam Cara, which means ‘Soul Kin.’ It signifies a deep interconnection with all beings, including the landscapes we call home, our soul family.

These pilgrimages bring both blessings and challenges, much like working with medicine. In their presence, we’re required to confront our fears and limiting beliefs. A love so deep it yearns to challenge us, transcending our suffering.

When we lose touch with our mission , we know that this abundance is always here to guide us back to our path of devotion and integrity.

🔥Announcing our final ceremonies of the year, and we’re going out with a serious bang ❤️‍🔥

🐦‍🔥 .belle will be guiding us in an dynamic healing retreat of aliveness, embodiment, song, dance, breath, and rituals for overcoming repression, stuckness, disconnection, and suffering. This dynamic and celebratory retreat is for you if you have been become disconnected from your inner fire, knowing, voice, or vision and are feeling the call to come alive in your authentic expression. Together, in loving community, we will pray, chant, purge, FEEL, and re-ignite the sacred pulse of our individual and collective aliveness ⚡️

Now, more than ever, the world needs each of us fiercely connected to our own inner voice and gifts. Together; we will release old stories of separation and reconnect our ancient dragon bodies and their incredible ancient wisdom.

Linzee is a powerhouse facilitator, bringing fierce and loving liberation to the spaces she holds in trauma-informed healing, breathwork, movement, expression, and nervous system rebirth. Her ability to deeply relate, connect, and ignite those around her is an absolute miracle to witness.

Her personal healing journey with Ayahausca is one of the most awe-inspiring client testimonials we have ever seen throughout our years in this work, and we cannot wait for that magic to be shared and ignite the space.

3 traditional Shipibo ceremonies will be held by the incredible Ochovano Lopez family, Maestro Teo and who bring a fire, joy, and celebration of their own to the Maloca…. unlike anyone else we know ❤️‍🔥
