These dancers represent messengers between the mountains and the jungle.

Wearing feathered crowns and vibrant colors, they bring the spirit of the rainforest into the Andes. Their dance honors the deep connection between these two worlds.

It is the water that flows from the Andes to the Amazon that gives life. The dance of the Wayri Chunchus reminds us of that sacred flow and connection. 💧 🏔️ 🐍

The solstice marks the New Year in the Andean calendar. We shared a coca offering and prayer, planting seeds for what we hope to grow. 🌱

We’re coming together this Saturday with one clear intention: to support the high Andean communities facing the harshest part of winter right now.
We also want to create space for deeper connection between the local and foreign communities that call this valley home.

We just returned from Qoylluriti — it was snowing, bitter cold, and still, the spirit of the people and their deep connection to the mountain kept us going.

That kind of resilience is powerful. But no one should have to face the cold unprotected — especially when so many of us have extra layers, blankets, and supplies that could bring real comfort to someone right now.

Tomorrow, Friday, June 20, is the last day to drop off donations at SolSeed - School of Ecological and Esoteric Design in Pisac — or bring them directly to the donation station at Paucartika on Saturday.

We’ll have music, food, art, and space for anyone who wants to offer something — whether it’s a craft, a song, or simply your presence.
