Sacred Plants Medicine Retreat with the Shipibos
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Blessings to you all! We are honoured to invited on this once in a lifetime Ayahuasca and plant medicine retreat. You are invited to come and spend 7 or 14 transforming and healing days in the retreat centre ‘White Star-Saken Nete”. This center was built and is run by Shipibo Native people. It is situated deep in the Peruvian Amazon in the district of Pucallpa. The Shipibo tribe are famous for their incredibly rich culture. They are masters of Ayahuasca plant medicine, and are worldwide known for their other worldly Icaros/Sacred songs, visionary art and weaving. The Shipibo’s are considered one of the most knowledgeable tribal people for the ceremonial and healing use of sacred plant medicine - ancient Shamanic healing. It is believed that they are the precursors of the use of Ayahuasca with vast knowledge from their ancient culture. Your group leader/guide and translator will be Maestro Douglas de Souza. Douglas has over 20 years of experience Ayahuasca, and plant medicine. He have held his own group circles for more than 10 years, holding sacred space both in diferent parts of the world.

I found the Shipibo style of working with the medicine and especially their singing to be the deepest and most ancestral sacred medicine singing I had ever experienced. These powerful Icaros and sacred chanting is an experience which is mysterious, transforming, healing, and beautiful. On his journeys to the region he had the chance to be in ceremony with several different Shipibo Maestros, and in one occasion he had the chance and the honour to drink with the 2 Shipibo Shamans, Maestra Reshin Wesna ( Elisa) , and Maestro Darwi, which he did selected to be the teachers he will be working with.
“Reshin Wesna has been working with the medicine for more than 30 years, her medicine is pure unconditional love, and her singing style is the finest indigenous singing I have had the honour to listen to, she works with Maestro Darwi who is also another amazing Shipibo Ayahuasquero Shaman. Both Shamans energies complement one another beautifully, and together they hold the most incredible, enlightening, deep, loving, strong and at the same time soft and gentle circles I have attended, and their medicine is a 5 star brew (wild Yellow Aya+ wild chacrona).” -d souza
Reshin Wesna owns a small healing center called Sanke Nete center, in a beautiful place, in the surrounding area of San Francisco village, on the borders Yarinacocha Lake, in Pucallpa district, the heart of Shipibo culture and medicine. Yarinacocha is an area which is less touristic, due to its more difficult to access and because it is not so advertised, what makes it therefore a much more authentic experience to be had. The centre has a lovely ’ Maloca’ for the ceremonies, kitchen, dry compost toilets, rooms and little huts shared and private which can accommodate up to 18 people. The centre has a lake, surrounded by beautiful nature and magical Amazonian atmosphere. This is an ideal place for a retreat and doing diets, as it is not too close to the village and is very peaceful, and protected .You will also have time to relax in the jungle in order to go deeper with your own healing and connect with nature and Mama Amazon. Reshin performs honest, deeply profound ancestral healing work with the medicine. Paticipants who come will experience authentic Shipibo tribal lineage. Dates: from 20th to 29th FEBRUARY (option 1)

Boat trip to Ucayalli river (optional). This retreat is mainly aimed at intensive healing, either for physical, emotional, mental or spiritual healing. The option 2 weeks Includes:
6 to 8 Ayahuasca ceremonies with, Maestra Reshin Wesna and Maestro Darwi. Peruvian Healing Flower Baths, Limpias, Soplas and One to one healing sessions with the Maestros
Purgative treatments will be given to cleanse mind body and spirit

14 days accommodation & food (free range, organic, whole food) in the centre ‘the white star- sanke nete’ healing centre. introduction to plant diets ( a plant diet can last from 7 days to 10 years) so in this retreat you will be introduced to the plant diet, its concepts, process and goals, and will go on one week plant diet, with the plant choosed by Reshin for each person , assisted by Reshin. (Participants are welcome to stay on at the centre longer to do some longer plant dietas under instruction and guidance of the Maestros.
-Boat trip to Ucayalli river (optional). And for shamanic plant initiation, to deepen your communication with the spirit plant you will diet, choosen by Reshin Wesna.
