Mas aí vão algumas considerações importantes:
Na amamentação no peito, não há evidências de que a posição aumente esse risco. Pelo contrário, o leite materno é um fator protetor contra infecções, inclusive as de ouvido. Então, pode amamentar na posição que for confortável para a mãe e o bebê.
Já a criança que mama na mamadeira exige cuidado, especialmente naquelas que têm otites de repetição. Nesse caso, recomenda-se manter a cabecinha um pouco mais elevada enquanto está mamando.
A posição ideal é aquela que traz conforto e conexão para vocês, sempre com segurança e atenção à respiração do bebê.
