Ok let's chat about fall and candles real quick.

I loved candles... my favorites were the warm smelling ones like vetiver, amber, and fir. But I slowly learned what all came with those lovely smells: *paraffin is what most candles are made of - and it's a petroleum byproduct. Meaning when it's burned it releases acetone, benzene, and toluene. *having been a wildland firefighter, benzene was something we were educated in as it is put off in normal fires also. Benzene affects bone marrow and decreases red blood cells - leading to anemia- and can even cause multiple forms of leukemia and lymphoma. *those particles are incredibly fine and can be deeply inhaled into your lungs and hang out for hours in your air. *fragrance: these are considered trade secrets so companies do not have to tell you what is actually in it. And yes, it can contain formaldehyde.

Scary right?! Literally why I don't burn candles anymore.

Instead, I get to diffuse oils (that have added benefits) to make my house smell cozy. I mean I even brought my diffuser to Alaska with me on my current trip!

Who loves them some long lashes?! If you want to help your lashes out naturally, here ya go:

Lash Serum-
*5-6 drops lavender
*organic, cold pressed, hexane free castor oil (this one is from Amazon)
*mascara tubes (also Amazon)

Drop the lavender in the tube, add the castor oil, and shake. Apply to lashes and brows each night.

Traveling with just a carry-on - who does it?! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️ Unless I'm traveling somewhere that I have to bring super bulky items, I try to just bring a personal item (normal size backpacks count as those) and maybe an actual carry-on.

I'm packed for a 4 day trip in there 🙌🏻 A couple different outfits for the actual trip, same outfit flying in and out, pjs, plus changes of clothes for my little guy (I place those in a ziplock bag and take all of the air out!). I also travel with a ton of Young Living oils and products.

So let's talk minerals... According to twotime Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling PhD. "You can trace every sickness, every disease, and every ailment to a mineral deficiency." Ionic minerals are the most fully and quickly absorbed form of minerals available.

Mineral Essence is all the good but not the best tasting. So, this is how I take it:
*2oz Ningxia Red
*5 - 1/2 dropperfuls Mineral Essence
*Orange juice
*1-2 drops Orange or Tangerine Vitality EO

And I personally love the taste of it mixed in this each morning!

Thieves Household Cleaner is my jam!

Here's what I want you to do, download the Think Dirty app. Go grab the cleaners you now are using to make your house sparkling. Scan their barcodes. 😱😳😱 Yeah it can be scary huh. No wonder you feel lightheaded or sick after cleaning. Remember having to go outside when you were growing up while your mom cleaned and she had all of the windows opened?! Because I do!

Homemade Citronella Bug Spray
Ingredients

2 ounces witch hazel
2 ounces water
15 drops citronella essential oil
15 drops cedarwood essential oil (optional)
10 drops geranium essential oil (optional)

To Make

Because essential oils don’t mix well with water, start by adding them to the witch hazel. This will disperse the essential oils in the liquid. Add water and pour into a spray bottle, preferably one made of glass. (Essential oils can leach chemicals from some plastics, and we don’t want that!)

To Use

Shake well before use. Spray on skin or clothes before going outside.
