5th Physiotherapy Symposium, Madang

Congratulations to Madang Provincial Health Authority (MaPHA), Divine Word University (DWU) School of Rehabilitation Sciences and Papua New Guinea Physiotherapy Association (PNGPA) FOR delivering a great 5th Physiotherapy Symposium in MADANG PROVINCE.

"Theme; Empowering communities through integrated Physiotherapy care in Papua New Guinea."

Phyomas Therapy was invited to present the work we do within our Port Moresby community. And the feedback from other health professionals and fellow physiotherapists was overwhelming.

As a practicing physiotherapist of 10 years, I have come to learn that IMAPRTING KNOWLEDGE is an excellent form of PATIENT EMPOWERMENT. The more the patient knows about their condition and how to manage it, the higher the prevention rate of injury recurrence and faster recovery time phase.
