Meet Caspar the Black Spotted Cuscus, named in memory of village elder Mr Caspar Seiko from Wilbeite village. Caspar was a respected leader who understood the value of the Torricelli's incredible biodiversity. This plush honours his legacy.

The Black-spotted Cuscus is the largest possum in New Guinea and is critically endangered. They're rarely seen in the wild – elusive, nocturnal, and threatened by hunting and habitat loss.

Who is the Tenkile Tree Kangaroo?
The Tenkile is a super rare animal that lives high up in the rainforest trees of the Torricelli Mountain Ranges in Papua New Guinea!
It looks like a mix between a kangaroo and a bear—but it can climb like a monkey!

Tenkiles have soft black fur with some yellow patches on its rump and tail, and love to eat leaves. There aren’t many left, so we need to help protect them and their forest home.

Why do we have an ?
Because globally forests continue to be destroyed from large scale agriculture, logging and infrastructure development. Forests provide the world with clean air, decarbonising the atmosphere and mitigating climate change. Forests produce water, medicine, food and habitat for millions of species including humans.

Our major goal is to protect the Torricelli Mountain Range, a pristine virgin forest home to critically endangered Tree kangaroos 🌳 🦘and possums.
