Before the night ends for our Carols for Cure,we would like to extend our heart felt appreciation to everyone that attended our families worthy cause today.

Happy 2nd December.

Thank you for your continuous support and love.

Due to Wilchi's recent medical results, he is due for an appointment on the 14th January,2026.

However, travel plans are put on hold due to the peak period and the increased airfares which Is causing a delay to our travel.

Despite all this, we have faith and are determined to keep going.

On that note, we wanted to share our family journey that brought our families closer.

*Wilchi's eldest Aunt Rita Aisi was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure In May ,2022.
She was fortunate to have a donor and continues with her medical reviews.

*Wilchi's has a grand mother Bubu Kathleen Bure that was diagnosed with breast cancer on Wilchi's 3rd Birthday 21.06.24. She is currently doing chemotherapy and radiation in Brisbane with the continuous support of families and friends.

*Wilchi has another grand mother Melinda Miria from maternal side of life who was diagnosed with throat cancer this year 2025 and is currently in the Philippines doing treatment.

Our families have been through soo much throughout the year, working to support each other but most importantly praying to keep our loved ones alive.

Our faith has kept the fire burning. 😇

Our families are all coming together to unite to host a special event for a worthy cause this Pre- Christmas .

All funds raised this event goes towards supporting each member of our family.

Hi Family & Friends.

Wilchi's Genetic results were released on Friday 07.11.25 at 12 noon.

Prior to receiving the hard copy results, I Wilchi's mum received a viber call from the Genetic specialist Dr Lingao summarizing the 5 page report and interpreting with simple ways for me to understand.

Wilchi's results came back POSITIVE meaning he carries a RB1 gene, he will need to do further tests as there appears to be an increase risk of secondary Cancers reoccurring such as brain tumor, bone or skin cancer amongst Retinoblastoma surviors, and there Is a chance that he can pass it on to his children in the future. 🥺😢

We have been trying to get our heads around this results and the cost related to it.

We were also told to go do a family variant testing that should be done with 150 days after Wilchi's blood was collected in July. That means we have 3 months left.

To be honest I was overwhelmed whilst trying to fight back the tears at work. The only thing that calmed my heart was a little prayer and continuous prayers to find confidence to share his results.

This medically important results we share with you all is not for sympathy but as an awareness to get your kids checked out if they are sick or if you see unusual behaviors or signs.

We are now seeking guidance from our Genetic specialist to help us on how we can manage the next steps of Wilchi's healing journey.

We remain prayerful and believe Wilchi will grow up to be a testimony of God's miracle. 😇❤

This is an appreciation post to all the Angels near and far that have supported and continue to support Paddington journey.

In Wilchi's journey, we have come this far with support from our families, friends and strangers.No insurance what soever except Prayers.

We do not have a major sponsor but we believed that Wilchi was healed because of LOVE from everyone.

Our journey for Wilchi continues til the age of 7 until he gets cleared from Childhood cancer, so we are resilient In making sure he reaches that age.

We have come this far and we continue to pray for those around us.

This is a little video of Wilchi learning to be independent.

Everyday is different for us as we continue to teach him new things.

Wilchi is doing well and its all thanks to the friends and families that supported us.

Good morning Family & Friends

We are back again with our little fundraising drive to support our not so little Master Wilchi Kapin.

Wilchi's Genetic testing results has been released to Wilchi's Doctors from overseas and results will be given to us this week.

We have been told that after the teleconsultation we will have to also think of the next steps in the future for his regular check ups.

In saying so we are going forward with our Fundraising Cooked seafood dinner menu.

Good Afternoon Family and Friends.

We apologize for the late update as we have had logging in issues with the account and updates were not been posted.

Unfortunately during our trip to Manila his appointment for the 28th August got deferred to 03rd September. Upon taking taking antibiotics for 5 days Wilchi blocked nose turned to runny noise and chesty cough.

The weather in Manila had heavy down pour that affected our appointment to do medical clearance on the 01st Sept but we managed to do a video call with Wilchi's Paediatrician, which he was too sick to undergo the procedures under general anesthesia.

03rd of September we managed to do the genetic blood extraction while Wilchi was awake and ended with a lot of fighting and tears. Blood samples were FedEx straight away to America for testing.

Wilchi was able to do a brief examination only to find his prosthetic eye muscles were infected and needed eye ointment and artificial tears to keep the eye clean.
We have been advised to remove the eye 4x day and clean which me as I mother is unable to do- you can imagine the strength of this 4 year old. Wilchi is also due for a new prosthetic eye soon.

Our next appointment was scheduled for the 18th September which unfortunately we didn't have the funds to stay longer nor did we have the extra money to cover the re booking of flights and visas.

Unfortunately we do not have better news to share but we are grateful for your love and support during this time.
We believe it's God's timing and we trust Wilchi remains healed In Jesus name.

Wilchi's Genetic results will be ready in 2 months and we are hoping to travel by early January to complete his other procedures.

Good day Family and Friends.

Firstly we would like to say thank you to everyone that purchased dance tickets and donated to Wilchi's healing journey. Your support has made it possible for us.

We arrived in Philippines on the 19th of August and settled in well.
Wilchi did his complete blood count and chest X-ray.

On the 26th August another blood extraction was collected for Creatinine (kidney test) at 8am.
Results were collected at 1.45pm and his next appointment with the Paediatrician was at 2pm

Blood results showed that Wilchi had a very high white blood count which the Doctor suspected a viral infection, upon her test she noticed that Wilchi had a nasal congestion. Having nasal blockage under general anesthetic Is not safe.
Kidney test was normal .

The chest x-ray came out clear with good results.

Wilchi was scheduled for his Brain MRI scan, Eye examination and Genetic testing blood extraction under general anesthesia today. However it got deferred to next Wednesday because he was not medically cleared to undergo this procedure.

Because of the rescheduled appointment we are unable to do the MRI scan with contrast as it's the day we return to PNG.

We were asked to rebook our flights to the following week but it would cost another K3000 to do so.

On that noted yesterday 27.08.25 we visited the Genetic specialist to do some assessment and counseling to understand more about Retinoblastoma. Myself (mother) and Wilchi had eye drops placed into our eyes to view the cause of Retinoblastoma. This medicines opens up the pupils to its extent that the vision becomes blurry for 6 hours.

This test requires both parents to be tested. Unfortunately Wilchi's dad was not able to travel due to funding. But we are determined to make that happen on our next visit so we can understand more if it's Gene mutation or if the cancer is only in the eye and not in other parts of the body.

With faith and trust we believe this is God's timing so our MRI will be booked for our next visit.

Hello Families and friends.

This is a shout out to everyone that supported us during Wilchi's fundraising.

Thank you to those who sold tickets on our behalf, to those that attended the dance, those that bought tickets but didn't make it, those that donated,those that shared the flyer and to the ones that kept Wilchi in their prayers.

We are very blessed to have a great support system that continues to help us reach Wilchi's goal to reaching the age of 7 where he will be medical cleared.

We are walking in faith next week for another medical review in Manila which he will undergo a full assessment .
