Good morning,Family &Friends.
We arrived back in Port Moresby a week ago and tried getting Wilchi settled into his normal routine however after 5 nights his sleep pattern didn't change and the hot humid temperature was not in our favor causing a lot of irritation to his new prosthetic eye.
Wilchi had his new 2nd prosthetic eye fitted on the 16th February as the original prosthetic eye was unable to adjust due to a slight crack and needed to be replaced.
The new prosthetic eye is slightly bigger in size to accommodate for Wilchi's growth and may last for another 1-2 years.
On the first day upon arrival at home Wilchi was constantly rubbing this right eye until his prosthetic eye fell out and it took alot of tossing, Turning and men power to finally fit it back.
We are happy to be back and our family will also be planning another trip in the next 4-6 months as per Doctors request so I'm reaching out to business houses, individuals or organizations who are willing to donate towards Wilchi's healing journey.
Each trip costs roughly K30,000 for eye examination,MRI brain scan, 4x Doctors consultation, lab tests, accommodation, airfares, transportation and meals.
The purpose for the regular visits is because Wilchi carries a RB1 gene that can develop into other forms of cancer at any time and therefore needs to be monitored.
We will be organizing a little fundraising to get us back on track and will advise in our next post.
Once again thank you all for your continuous support and prayersπβ€.
