Some people are working every day, every night for rates like K2.50, K3.30, K3.50, even K4.50 an hourπ₯Ή. Some stay on the job for 24 hours straightβ¦ yet nothing changes. At the end of the fortnight, all they hold in their hands is K200 not because they are lazy, but because life is hardπ₯Ή π.
Now imagine⦠what if that was your brother? Your sister? Your aunty? Your uncle?
Standing there tired, sweating, eyes heavyβ¦ but still pushing through.ππͺ
Then after a hours of hard work, they manage to give you just K10.
K10 that came from pain.
K10 that came from hunger.
K10 that came from sacrifice.
That Simple K10 come from his or her 4 hoursπ₯Ήπ
Would you complain?
Or would you stop⦠and appreciate?
βNot all money is equal. Some money carries sweat, tears, and silent suffering.βπ
They also have lives to carryβ¦
A family to feed.
Friends to support.
Siblings who look up to them.
Food to buy.
Clothes to wear.
A husband or wife waiting for help.
So why do we make it harder for them?
Why do we expect more when they already have nothing left to give?
βIf you are not there to help them when they are tired, donβt be the reason they feel more pain.β
Sometimes, all they need is understandingβ¦ not pressure.π£π«΅
Sometimes, all they need is respect⦠not complaints.
Instead of judging, ask yourself:
βWhat have I done with my own two hands?β
Use your βfive plus fiveβ fingers. Work hard. Build yourself.
Because one day, you might understand exactly how that K10 feels.
Respect small money because behind it is a big struggle.πββοΈπ₯Ή
