This year’s Medical Symposium carries special significance as it coincides with Papua New Guinea’s 50-year Golden Jubilee celebrations, marking a historic milestone for the nation. The 2025 Symposium will gather medical professionals, researchers, policymakers, and key stakeholders under the theme: “One Health.”

The One Health approach underscores the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health, promoting a collaborative and holistic strategy to address emerging and ongoing health challenges in PNG and beyond.

City Pharmacy Limited Medical & Laboratory Supplies (CPL MedLab & Supplies) is proud to announce its partnership with ERBA Mannheim—a global leader dedicated to creating social impact in developing nations by providing innovative, affordable, and sustainable healthcare solutions.

To strengthen and advance this partnership, CPL MedLab & Supplies hosted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event, where a team from ERBA Mannheim (Efficient Reliable Biomedical Analysis) delivered insightful presentations. The event was attended by representatives from Provincial Health Authorities, Port Moresby General Hospital, and other private healthcare providers.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Pradeep Panda, Head of Pharmacy, warmly welcomed the ERBA Mannheim team and officially announced that CPL is now the exclusive distributor of ERBA products in the South Pacific region. This milestone reflects a shared commitment to enhancing healthcare standards in both public and private laboratories across the region.
