This year’s Medical Symposium carries special significance as it coincides with Papua New Guinea’s 50-year Golden Jubilee celebrations, marking a historic milestone for the nation. The 2025 Symposium will gather medical professionals, researchers, policymakers, and key stakeholders under the theme: “One Health.”
The One Health approach underscores the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health, promoting a collaborative and holistic strategy to address emerging and ongoing health challenges in PNG and beyond.
