NO SMOKING ORDINANCE SA KALIBO STRIKTO NANG IPAPATUPAD

Strikto nang ipapatupad ang no smoking ordinance sa kabiserang bayang ito ng Kalibo.

Ayon ito kay Ramel Buncalan, head ng task force ng no smoking ordinance, sa panayam ng Energy FM Kalibo Miyerkules ng gabi.

Posible anyang sa Lunes ng susunod na linggo ay pagmumultahin na nila ang mga lumalabag.

Dumating na kasi ang citation ticket para dito. Natagalan ang istriktong pagpapatupad ng ordenansa dahil sa kawalan citation ticket.

Ayon kay Buncalan, sa kasalukuyan ay mayroon nang 15 mga deputized enforcer ang munisipyo para manghuli at pagmultahin ang mga ang lumalabag.

Tinatakda sa ordinance no. 2016-004 ang pagbabawal sa paggamit, pagbenta, pagdi-distribute at pag-a-advertise ng sigarilyo at iba pang mga produktong tabako, maging ang electronic ci******es, sa mga pampublikong lugar.

Ang mga lalabag sa batas na ito ay papatawan ng kaukulang penalidad na hindi tataas sa 2, 500 pesos at pagkakulong ng limang araw o pagpapasara sa establisyemento./ Darwin Tapayan, EFM Kalibo

Many of the 36.1 million people infected with HIV do not know they are carrying the virus. Nor do they know much about the disease. Education could have helped them avoid acquiring the virus. Education is a vital step towards halting the epidemic and overcoming the prejudice and fear faced by people living with HIV and AIDS.

It is through education that we can battle against ignorance. It is by education that we can prevail against stigma and discrimination. It is therefore in this line that we present to you our twenty (20) lovely queen candidates with their advocacy messages.
