Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a highly effective method of helping people learn how to manage feelings of anger. Anger problems don’t get “cured,” but they can get better.

Anger issues happen for different reasons. They could be related to factors like unresolved trauma, the effects of alcohol abuse, or imbalanced brain chemistry. It’s not uncommon for parents dealing with childhood anger to be left deeply confused by their child’s behavior.

Whatever the reason behind anger, CBT is a style of therapy that can provide the insight and skills to develop a different approach to handling emotions.

4 WAYS TO HACK YOUR BODY

1. If you're nervous, pinch your nose; You'll calm down.

2. If any part of your body is tingling, shake your head from side to side.

3. If you can't sleep, blink rapidly for 1 minute.

4. If you have a stuffy nose, put an ice cube on the roof of your mouth.

There is no excuse for not teaching kids to say "please" and "thank you."
Manners are free.

I heard someone once say,

"one of your siblings will attend all of your funerals, one sibling will attend none & one sibling will have none of you at theirs"

🙌🪷🍀 I love
seeing people coming back to life;
I love seeing people's dark clouds clearing and the weight from their shoulders lifting. I love seeing them start to believe in hope again, to believe in themselves again. I love seeing them starting to enjoy life again, to be living their lives again. I love seeing people experiencing joy again, to see them genuinely laughing and smiling again. I love seeing them falling back in love with their lives again, with who they are again. If you're reading this, it's your turn next.

🙌🪐🍀 How to master decision making
Life is quite literally just a long process of making decisions and living the reality of your decisions. From the minute you wake up until the minute you go to sleep you are constantly deciding. You decide what to do now and what to do next. You decide what to eat and what to drink, where to go and who to see. You decide what to think and what to believe. You are always, always deciding. Aside from uncontrollable factors like being born into riches or poverty, how your life ends up is entirely a reflection of the decisions you have made. Most of us don't realise that though so were just deciding automatically, without considering the potential outcomes of the decisions we make. Being skilled at decision making is what will give you the power to transform your life into the realities that you dream of. All you need to do is realise that every decision you make has a consequence. some minor, some severe, and you really need to know whether each decision is worth its consequences. of course not all consequences are bad.
You're trying to make decisions which create the best possible consequences in line with the life that you want.
Become great at making good decisions and soon enough your dreams will have become your reality.

When writing this episode the writers consulted with child psychologists, pastors, priests, and Rabbis. The conclusion was made to be very direct with Big Bird and just say that this is just the way it has to be. Carroll Spinney, who played Big Bird, later said that his costume was a mess after this episode because of all the tears running down his face. As the final scene was finished the entire cast and film crew broke down in tears. This episode was intentionally aired on thanksgiving day because the thought was that parents would be home to watch it with their children and be there to answer any questions they might have including aspects of faith the individual families might have. This episode won a Daytime Emmy award for outstanding writing and Carroll Spinney was given a Peabody award for his performance.
