In the face of intimidation and unjust labeling, we stand firm.

We express our unwavering solidarity with the students of Bicol University who have been subjected to red-tagging—an act that endangers lives, suppresses dissent, and undermines the very foundations of academic freedom and democratic expression.

Universities are meant to be safe spaces for critical thought, discourse, and advocacy. When students are vilified for exercising their rights, we are all called to speak, not only in defense of those directly affected, but in protection of the principles we collectively uphold.

Silence enables harm. Action affirms justice.

𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 💜✊

Ano kaya ang mundo kung walang babae? Ano kaya ang hubog nito kung wala si nanay, ate, estudyante, lider, manggagawa, iha? Marahil, magiging limitado ang mga kwentong may lalim, may saysay, at may kabuluhan. Sapagkat, lahat ng babae, may kwentong ipinaglalaban. Lahat ng babae, may boses na dapat pakinggan. Ngunit sa kabila nito, sila pa rin ay nakakulong sa makitid na espasyo—hindi pinakikinggan, hindi kinikilala, hindi pinapahalagahan. Kaya ngayong buwan ng mga kababaihan, panahon na upang ibahagi ang ating mga saloobin dahil ang buwan na ito ay hindi lamang selebrasyon, kundi isang hakbang upang maitaas ang mga aksyon para sa kababaihan.

Sa pamamagitan ng 𝗪𝗘 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, nagkaisa ang 𝟭𝟳 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 ng BUCSSP na may iisang layunin: magbahagi, kumilala, magbigay insipirasyon, at magsulong ng karapatan at pagkapantay-pantay ng bawat babae sa ating lipunan. Ang boses ng mga organisasyong ito ay nagsisilbing gabay at inspirasyon sa kada estudyante, lalo na sa mga kapwa CSSPinian, upang mas talakayin, ipaglaban, at itaas ang karapatan ng mga kababaihan.

This project presents key provisions from the Bicol University Student Handbook, including students’ rights to quality education, participation, safety, due process, and welfare support. It also highlights available welfare services such as guidance and counseling, career support, inclusive services, and programs for students with special needs.

Beyond rights, the campaign also emphasizes students’ duties and responsibilities in building a respectful and accountable academic community. To ensure accessibility and preparedness, the infographic includes essential local emergency and support hotlines, as well as direct links to official student services and resources.

The 2nd General Assembly of the Bicol University College of Social Sciences and Philosophy officially resumes for its afternoon session, beginning with the deliberation of New Business. This includes 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙤. 𝟬𝟯 𝙨. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, which seeks to formally adopt the Rules of Procedure to govern all future assembly proceedings. Additionally, the body is deliberating on 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙤. 𝟬𝟰 𝙨. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 which establishes clear guidelines for the initiation, endorsement, and adjudication of impeachment proceedings. Moreover, the assembly introduced 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙤. 𝟬𝟱 𝙨. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, a measure mandating the College Student Council to provide a weekly supply of free menstrual pads in BUCSSP comfort rooms utilizing its internal fund. This resolution highlights a commitment to student welfare and basic health necessity within the college.
