A Mother Carries Her Children in Her Heart, Literally

The childrenās genetic material (DNA) becomes part of her and has been found in the body decades later, even if the baby didnāt live to be born.
These fetal cells can contribute stem cells, generate new neurons in the motherās brain, and even support a healthy heart. They are more prevalent in the breast tissue of healthy women than in those with breast cancer.
