🔍 What is HIV?

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that attacks the immune system. If left untreated, it can lead to AIDS. With early testing and proper treatment, people with HIV can live long and healthy lives.

💡 How HIV is Transmitted:

HIV can spread through:
Unprotected sexual contact
Sharing contaminated needles or sharp instruments
Mother-to-child transmission (pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding)
Transfusions of infected blood (rare due to screening)

🛑 How HIV is NOT Transmitted:

HIV cannot be spread through:

Hugging, holding hands, or kissing
Sharing food, utensils, or toilet seats
Sweat, tears, or saliva ,Casual contact in school or the community

🛡️ Protect Yourself:

Practice safe and responsible sexual behavior
Use condoms correctly and consistently
Avoid sharing needles or sharp items
Get tested regularly
Seek medical help if you think you’ve been exposed

Ang Leptospirosis usa ka sakit nga dala sa bakterya nga Leptospira nga gikan sa ihi sa ilaga ug ubang mananap. Makuha kini kung molusong sa baha, sa hugaw nga mga pagkaon o sa mga kontaminadog tubig nga masulod sa mata, sa ilong o sa baba.

🩺 Know the Warning Signs

If you or someone you know notices any of these, encourage them to visit a healthcare professional:

A lump in or near the breast or underarm

Changes in breast size or shape

Redness or rash on the breast or ni**le

Dimpling or puckering of the skin

Ni**le changes (inversion or unusual discharge)

Pain or swelling that doesn’t go away

Be aware of the signs and share information with others.

Encourage your family members to do monthly breast self-exams.

MAGING MAINGAT, MAGING MAAGAP! ⛑️
Mga , narito ang mga dapat nating tandaan at gawin upang maging .
BEFORE (Bago ang Lindol)
1. MAGPLANO
Alamin ang mga emergency numbers na maaaring tawagan sa oras ng sakuna. Magkaroon ng Emergency Evacuation Plan ang bawat pamilya upang alam ng bawat isa kung saan magkikita-kita sa oras na tumama ang isang malakas na lindol.
2. MAGHANDA
Siguraduhing palaging nakahanda ang inyong mga emergency kits na maaaring dalhin kapag tumama ang malakas na lindol.
Maghanda ng GO BAG o emergency bag na naglalaman ng pagkain, tubig, damit at hygiene kits na maaaring tumagal ng 72 oras. Isama sa GO BAG ang mga mahahalagang papeles tulad ng birth certificalte, titulo ng lupa at iba pa.
3. MAGING MAPAGMASID
Alamin kung ang kinatatayuan ng inyong bahay ay nasa lugar na maaaring maapektuhan ng earthquake hazards (landslide at tsunami).
Siguraduhing matibay ang pagkakagawa ng inyong bahay. Itali ang mga mabibigat na kasangkapan sa dingding upang maiwasan ang pagbagsak ng mga ito. Siguraduhing nakaimbak nang maayos ang mga babasaging kagamitan at mga kemikal.
DURING (Habang Lumilindol)
A. DROP COVER AND HOLD ON
Kapag ikaw ay naabutan ng pagyanig sa tahanan, humanap ng matibay na mesa upang protektahan ang sarili sa mga naglalaglagang mga bagay.
B. LOCK COVER AND HOLD ON
Kapag ikaw ay nasa wheel chair siguraduhing naka-lock ang wheelchair at humanap ng matigas na bagay tulad ng libro na maaring ipamprotekta sa ulo.
C. HUWAG MAGPAPANIC
AFTER (Pagkatapos ng Lindol)
1. MAG-EVACUATE PAGKATAPOS ANG PAGYANIG
Pagkatapos ng pagyanig, Lumikas kaagad sa itinakdang evacuation area. Siguraduhing alam ng bawat miyembro ang lugar kung saan magkikita-kita.
2. MAGHANDA SA AFTERSHOCKS
Kapag tumama ang isang malakas na lindol, asahan ang mga mahihina hanggang sa malalakas na aftershocks.
3. SURIIN ANG SARILI
Suriin ang sarili kung may sugat, pilay at iba pa.
4. I-CHECK ANG BAHAY
I-check ang bahay kung may sira. Gayon din ang mga gas pipes na maaaring nagkaroon ng gas leakage at electrical wires na maaaring naputol sa kasagsagan ng lindol.
