Tuwing Hunyo ay pinagdiriwang ang Men’s Mental Health Month. Panahon ito ng pag-alala at pagkilala sa kahalagahan ng mental health ng mga kalalakihan.

Hindi kahinaan ang magpakatotoo sa nararamdaman.
Lalaki ka man, karapat-dapat kang marinig, maunawaan, at alagaan.

✅Okay lang umiyak at malungkot
✅Okay lang humingi ng tulong
✅Ang emosyon ay walang kasarian
✅Hindi mo kailangang “magpakatatag” palagi
✅Ang pag hingi ng tulong ay tanda ng lakas

June 27 is National PTSD Awareness Day 💙🧠
Let’s break the silence and stigma.

What is PTSD?
According to the DSM-5, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop after exposure to a traumatic event such as actual or threatened death, serious injury, or sexual violence. Symptoms may include:

🔁 Re-experiencing the trauma (e.g. flashbacks, nightmares)
🚫 Avoidance of reminders or thoughts related to the trauma
⚠️ Negative changes in thoughts and mood (e.g. guilt, fear, detachment)
😰 Increased arousal and reactivity (e.g. hypervigilance, irritability)

PTSD is not a sign of weakness, it’s a natural response to overwhelming stress.
