Work Suspension Due to Typhoon Tino

Work in the Bacolod City government satellite offices (BESO and GSE) is suspended tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, due to the threat of Typhoon Tino.

This is pursuant to Executive Order No. 69, Series of 2025.

Important Advisory

Essential services remain operational: Offices handling health services, disaster response, and other vital services will continue to render necessary services.

Please stay vigilant and monitor official updates.

In celebration of World Rabies Day, September 28, 2025 with the theme “Act Now: You, Me, Community” we joined hands with the City Veterinary Office in conducting free spay and neuter services, along with anti-rabies vaccination for pets. Together with the City Health Office, we also provided health teaching on the legalities and importance of responsible pet ownership, highlighting the vital role of every pet owner in keeping their community safe. This activity reflects our shared commitment to building a healthier and rabies-free city through proactive services and education.

World Rabies Day reminds us that rabies is 100% preventable, and prevention begins with awareness, responsibility, and action. By vaccinating our pets, practicing responsible ownership, and educating our communities, we can protect not only our beloved animals but also our families and neighbors. Let us all be partners in this mission because when it comes to rabies prevention, every action matters, every person counts.

Pursuant to Office of the President Memorandum Ciruclar No. 90 and upon recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), work in government offices and classes in all levels in Bacolod City are hereby suspended tomorrow, July 23, 2025.

Government offices with essential functions such as basic, health, and disaster response services will remain operational while other agencies may continue to operate under approved alternate work arrangements.

Work suspension in the private sector is left in the discretion of their respective management.
