Between the Lines is an audio drama by the people behind motHIVate, perfect for your late night storytelling cravings. Told through epistolary entries, when Aaron receives an email from Gio, he finds himself torn between the quiet realities of living with HIV and the possibility of romance, as a conversation about fear, responsibility, and choice starts between them that neither is ready for.

This audio drama is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to real people, living or dead, is strictly coincidental. This program also contains mature and sensitive themes; listener discretion is advised.

For our all-grown-up Disney kids and our musical theatre nuts, this installment of the 𝗥𝗘: 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗣 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 is for you! 🎶

motHIVate takes a look at the man who curated the soundtrack of our childhoods: Howard Ashman. Before the turn of the millennium, at the heart of the Disney Renaissance, it was Ashman and his pen that brought the Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast to animated life.

But behind the scenes of his magnum opus, Howard and company faced an uphill battle against an epidemic that would take away a visionary—but not his legacy. Take a look at the man who gave a mermaid her voice, a beast his soul, and entire generations songs to sing their heart out to.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 🌈❤️🎗️

Last April 6, a mighty few answered the call to save the world, one day at a time at : , the sixth installment of the USLS Gender and Development Center flagship talk program and the culminating activity of motHIVate, held at Room 10.

Participants expressed advocacy through art in our placard-making session, walked the walk during our solidarity march, honored lives lost to HIV and AIDS during the candlelighting and vigil, and took the opportunity to learn more about the current state of HIV/AIDS in the Philippines, courtesy of a talk by Dr. Carina H. Frayco, FPCP, FPSMID.

Across four face-to-face activities, tens of media outputs, and more, the people behind motHIVate express their utmost appreciation and thanks to the people who showed up and showed out for the advocacy.

It's not the end, just until we meet again... which might be sooner than you think 😉
