🤍 APAS & Baby Growth: What You Need to Know

Some babies grow slower in the womb — a condition called Fetal Growth Restriction (FGR). One possible reason? Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APAS), an autoimmune condition that can affect placenta blood flow.

💡 Here’s what it means:
✨ Baby may be smaller than expected
✨ More frequent ultrasounds to check growth & blood flow
✨ Low-dose aspirin or blood thinners may be recommended
✨ With proper care, many moms with APAS still have healthy babies!

Every pregnancy is unique — working closely with your OB & Reproductive Immunologist is key.

If you have been diagnosed with APAS and are pregnant or planning pregnancy, regular prenatal care and early monitoring can make a big difference. 🤍
