Lions Strides- for Diabetes Awareness This event aims to mobilize the community to join in the effort to prevent, control and eventually overcome the risks of diabetes. Thank you very much !!!

In celebration of World Diabetes Awareness, the BAGUIO EVERLASTING LIONS CLUB has organized a “LIONS STRIDES – for Diabetes Awareness” every year in Baguio City. Free diabetes screening will be provided to the participants before or after the run/walk. Dilated eye examination will also be performed by eye doctors for high risk patients. Proceeds of this event shall be used to fund upcoming diabetes programs of the Club. Join us in taking stronger strides in defeating diabetes!!! We look forward to partnering with you in this endeavor.

Baguio Everlasting Lions Club - BELC's for LY 2015-2016

Baguio Everlasting Lions Club celebrated World Diabetes Day last Nov 14, 2015 with Lions Strides Dance Exercise. Diabetes screening test, vision/optical, medical/dental services were also rendered to the QM Brgy, Baguio City community held at Our Lady of Grace Parish under Fr. Manny Castro. Special thanks to Lns Bernie & Glo Vergara and Ms Lulu Tabanda for sharing their blessings. Also, our gratitude to Dr. Joseph Herrero of Pines City Colleges for sending a Dental Team headed by Dr Art Baday and to all BELC Ladies for your Lionism. WE SERVE..ROAR!

This Lion Year 2014-2015, the Baguio Everlasting Lions Club (BELC), Philippine Medical Women’s Association Baguio-Benguet Chapter (PMWA BBC) and the PDA-Baguio City Chapter (PDA-BCC) are committed to help create awareness in diabetes and oral health through Zumba Strides – a fitness activity for Diabetes and Oral Health Awareness to be held on April 18, 2015, a Saturday, Melvin Jone grounds, Burnham, Baguio City. Baguio Everlasting Lions Club will sponsor Diabetes Screening to be be conducted prior to and after the Zumba activity. The PMWA Baguio-Benguet Chapter will give Diabetes Awareness Lecture for Laymen. The PDA-Baguio City Chapter will also give oral health education.
This event is in cooperation with the City Government of Baguio, and in line with its summer vacation 2015 activities.
Proceeds will be used to fund the various community outreach projects of the 3 organizations.
Tickets:
Registration ticket - P100.00
Discounted for tickets for senior citizens & college/high school students/Elementary at P75.00 each
