From 6:00 AM on December 28 to 5:59 AM on December 29, 2024, three new fireworks-related injuries (FWRIs) were reported in the SOCCSKSARGEN region, bringing the total to 34 since December 21, 2024.

🔹 Demographics: 94% of the cases were male, and 74% were below 18 years old.
🔹 Injuries: Most cases involved blast or burn injuries without amputations. However, 3% required finger amputations, and 35% involved eye injuries.
🔹 Top Causes: The leading cause of injuries was boga, followed by triangle and 5-star, all of which are illegal fireworks.
