The First Aider Organization, together with our School Nurse and Mrs. Edna Canoy, Sanitary Inspector from RHU Baroy, conducted a water fountain inspection to ensure clean and safe drinking water for all students and staff.

LOOK | School orgs join forces for school watching and hazard mapping
Student-led organizations gathered at the conference hall for the orientation of the school watching and hazard mapping in an attempt to guarantee safety and readiness. School org advisers, faculty representatives, non-teaching personnel, student councils, and disaster preparedness committees plan to work together to identify and evaluate possible risks on and around school grounds. This entails charting flood zones, electrical hazards, earthquake-prone regions, fire exits, and other possible safety hazards. The initiatives aims students to gain a greater sense of responsibility and community awareness in addition to learning about risk reduction through cooperation and coordination. The completed hazard map will be an essential component of the school's disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) strategy, guaranteeing that all parties involved are aware of and ready for any eventuality.

🩺 Brigada Eskwela 2025 – Day 1 Recap 💚
The First Aid Organization officially kicks off Brigada Eskwela with a strong focus on health and safety!

A huge thank you to the personnel from RHU Baroy, headed by Dr. Wiljelyn Abamonga, for leading an engaging and informative health session on MPOX and Dengue Awareness. 🦠🦟

🔹 Dr. Wiljelyn Abamonga discussed MPOX, including how it is transmitted, its symptoms, and the importance of early detection and prevention.
🔹 Mrs. Edna Canoy, Sanitary Inspector of RHU Baroy, gave an insightful talk on Dengue Prevention, reminding everyone of the 4S Strategy:
Search and destroy, Secure protection, Seek early consultation, and Support fogging in mosquito-prone areas.

As we prepare our school for the year ahead, we’re also building a healthier and more informed community—because awareness is the first step to prevention. 💪
