Forgive yourself for all the stupid things you did just to feel loved.

Not all “busy” carries the same weight.

Sometimes I wonder—

what if the time I spent
fixing everything else…
I had given it to my children instead?

Maybe I wouldn’t carry this thought now—
that somehow, in the process,
they were the ones I couldn’t fully give back to.

Not because I didn’t love them—
but because I believed
the work mattered too.

But this is the hard truth—
Not all effort is rewarded fairly.
Not all sacrifices find their way back to you.
And not every place you give your best to
will ever give you what you deserve.

That’s where it hurts.

You give, you stay, you endure—
only to realize
that what you were hoping for
was never really yours to receive there.

And slowly, you begin to understand—
Time is never just spent.
It is always exchanged.

And some exchanges,
you only recognize as costly
when it’s already done.

But this is where you ground yourself—
You acted with intention.
You gave what you believed was rightat that moment.

There was no failure in that.
Only honesty.
Now you see more clearly—
not to abandon your purpose,
but to place it where it truly matters.

Because in the end,
systems can overlook you,
people can fail you—

but your children will remember
where you chose to be.

So maybe the question is no longer
“what if.”

Maybe it becomes—

“from now on,
where do I choose to stand?”

You were not meant to shrink
just to be accepted.
And you were never meant
to carry the responsibility
of making everyone else comfortable—
while you quietly lose yourself.🫶

A small comfort
on days that feel too much.

Pride defends.
Humility reflects.

Hindi lahat mag-aadjust sa’yo—
at hindi lahat dapat magdala
ng bigat na hindi naman kanila.

Growth starts
when you finally learn
to look at yourself.

On the other side of the healthcare arena,

You give your time, your strength, your presence—
even when there’s nothing left for yourself.

You stand beside pain that isn’t yours,
carry stories you can’t share,
and make decisions that no one prepares you for.

People see the outcomes—
the healed, the saved, the system that works—
but not the quiet cost behind it.

The missed moments.
The emotional weight.
The silent exhaustion.
And sometimes,
no matter how much you give,
it still won’t give back what you deserve.

That’s the hardest truth.
But you stay—
not because it’s easy,
but because somewhere in all that chaos,
there’s purpose worth holding on to.

14/04/2026

Anchor yourself on purpose.
That’s the one thing no one can take, twist, or question.🫶
