Did you know there are multiple types of helmets? It is important to do your research to ensure you have the correct helmet for the activity at hand. In addition to the four helmets outlined below, there are Scooter helmets, Bull Riding Helmets, Equastrian Helmets, Hockey Helmets, White Water Rafting Helmets and more! The proper helmet for an activity will keep your head, and brain, safe from serious injuries. Don't forget your helmet safety!

𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗨𝗣 to helmets with DOT stickers! Check this out.

FACT #3: Buying a helmet with a DOT sticker on the back means it’s probably been tested for safety against impacts and has proven to be safe, and will likely keep you out of a hospital. Helmets should meet the safety standards and so, are required to have a sticker on the outside back of a helmet with the letters DOT, certifying that the helmet meets standards.

𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗨𝗣: 𝗔 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

Road accidents are sometimes inevitable and unpredictable. One of the most affected in this situation is small vehicles such as motorcycles. That's why wearing a motorcycle helmet while driving whether on minor roads or highways is paramount to ensure the safety of motorists.

This communication program was organized by 4th-year Development Communication students from Batangas State University - Pablo Borbon. It aims to increase the practices of motorists in wearing a helmet while driving specifically in terms of where (place) and when (time) they need to practice it; expand their knowledge about the other benefits of wearing a helmet and its corresponding consequences, and increase their influence with other motorists to change their behavior as well.
