CORT CONGRATULATES 34 PLTCIANS WHO ILLUMINATED SUCCESS AND EXCELLENCE DURING THE RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY LICENSURE EXAMINATION (RTLE) 2025

Just like radiology that exposes what lies beneath the surface, the RTLE 2025 has unveiled the brilliance, perseverance, and dedication of the alumni from the College of Radiologic Technology, making them officially โ€œRegistered Radiologic Technologists.โ€

As this year comes to an end, we proudly celebrate the 34 PLTCian radiologic technology alumni who passed the exam, achieving a 62.75% passing rate among first takers, highlighting a shining accomplishment that surpasses the national passing rate of 59.49%. Alongside the triumph of 2 repeaters, this milestone reflects not only academic mastery but also the resilience and clarity of vision that define true radiologic technologists.

To our new RRTs: you are now the light in the dark, the clarity in uncertainty, and the guardians of diagnostic truth. Your journey truly inspires the PLTCian community and radiates pride across the profession.

WHEN RADIANCE MEETS UNITY: CORT'S 2025 ACQUAINTANCE PARTY Celebrates 130 Years of X-ray Discovery

Despite the impending onslaught of the super-typhoon Uwan, PLTCI-College of Radiologic Technology celebrated its annual Acquaintance Party on Saturday, November 8, 2025, held at the Ammungan Hall, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, which was held in honor of the 130th anniversary of the discovery of X-rays.

The event was the focal point of the celebration of World Radiography Week with the theme "Shining Together, Sparking as One," which emphasized the importance of forging new relationships and solidifying old ones. Transitioning from being positioning masters and darkroom experts to sophisticated enchanters and dazzling charmers, the faculty and students took a brief break from their academic responsibilities as they enjoyed the exciting night through the sets of activities and games laid out by the joint forces departmental officers and volunteers.

The college dean, Ma'am Maricel P. Grande, RRT, M.A.Bio, thanked everyone who participated and added special significance to the celebration. โ€œThis event is all about celebrating friendship and togetherness. I want to thank you all for your time and efforts just to attend, even though we are expecting the arrival of the typhoon Uwan,โ€ Dean remarked.

This collaborative effort led by the college highlights not only the beauty of diversity but also the spirit of solidarity that has kept the college strong since its establishmentโ€” serving as a light on the way to imaging excellence, carrying its mission to be the eyes of medicine.

Eighty-seven Radiologic Technology students from PLT proudly participated in this yearโ€™s 3-day National Congress 2025, held at the Crown Legacy Hotel in Baguio City. This national gathering was dedicated to expanding knowledge, enhancing skills, and fostering collaboration among future medical imaging professionals. With delegates from various institutions, the event provided an enriching environment filled with learning experiences, professional exposure, and meaningful interaction.

The congress featured a diverse range of activities that highlighted academic excellence, teamwork, and leadership. Students showcased their strategic thinking and camaraderie through RT Henyo, RT Feud, and the exhilarating Amazing Race, while confidence and creativity took center stage during the prestigious Mr. and Ms. Radiologic Technology National Congress. The Research Presentation segment further emphasized scholarly competence as participants shared innovative studies and scientific insights with peers and professionals alike.

Throughout the event, the PLT RadTech delegates demonstrated passion, unity, and professionalism, proudly embodying the values of their program and institution.

This 3-day congress stands as a testament not only to the commitment and enthusiasm of PLTโ€™s RadTech students but also to the enduring spirit of solidarity and excellence that continues to guide them on their journey as future medical imaging professionals and the eyes of medicine.

The Academic Health Break is extended until November 3, 2025 to give students who came from their respective provinces ample opportunity to settle into their boarding houses and prepare for the productive weeks ahead.

This thoughtful extension recognizes the importance of transition and recoveryโ€”especially after the observance of All Saintsโ€™ and All Soulsโ€™ Days. It allows every PLTCIan to settle back comfortably, restore focus, and be fully ready to take on the challenges of the remaining half of the semester.

Letโ€™s make the most of this extended pause to rest our bodies, renew our PLTCIan spirit, and return with clarity and energyโ€”ready to move forward with purpose and excellence, the PLTCian way.

In recognition of the importance of wellness, balance, and reflection, PLT College, Inc. there will be an Academic Health Break from October 29 to November 2, 2025 that will benefit the entire PLTCI Family.

This well-deserved pause allows every PLTCIan โ€”students, faculty, and staff alike, to take a breather, prioritize self-care, and prepare mindfully for the remaining half of the semester.
