The Biliran PHO HIV Treatment Hub conducted Learning Group Session to our Warrior PLUS friends. It aims to boost their knowledge about Anti-retroviral Therapy, encourage disclosure and promote healthy living.

Biliran Provincial Health Office through HIV/AIDS-STI Prevention and Control Program conducted World AIDS Day last December 09, 2024. The activity aims to promote HIV prevention, treatment, and support, reduce stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS, and encourage individuals, communities, and governments to take action in the fight against the infection.

The current status of HIV/AIDS infection in the country, regional and provincial level was presented followed by HIV 101. Our HACT Physician also discussed about HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis as additional services on HIV prevention including the availability of condom and lubricants.

Ang pagkuha ng HIV test ay ipinapayong gawing normal at parte ng pangangalaga sa kalusugan.

✅Kumonsulta sa inyong healthcare workers upang makakuha ng tamang impormasyon at makapagpa-test. Ito ay libre, ligtas, at confidential anuman ang maging resulta nito. 🩺

💡 May libreng condoms o pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) na nagsisilbing proteksyon sa mga nag negatibo sa test.

💡 Kung ikaw naman ay positibo, mayroong libreng antiretroviral therapy (ART) na makatutulong sayo.

Tandaan, wala nang dapat mamatay sa HIV. Tayo ay magkaisa upang wakasan ang stigma at para masimulan ang HIV prevention and proper management!

Wag kalimutan magpa-test ha, dahil bawat buhay mahalaga! 🫶
