Dearest MSAens,

The Federation of Muslim Student Association (FMSA), Tawi-Tawi Chapter will be holding its 5th General Assembly. This is an annual program of the association that gathers all chapters of MSA in Tawi - Tawi to present their accomplishments and plan for the year, for the purpose of progress and unity. 🤝

For those who are interested to attend the said EVENT, please submit your full name together with your registration fee of 50 pesos only for the food. Shirts must be color gray and to be provided by each participant (free printing).

The date and venue are not yet finalized. Kindly keep updated for further announcement. ☺️

-If we would only comply to His (ALLAH SWT) rules such as enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil, we will be those whom are successful.

-It may sound difficult but we can actually balance our studies and our religion and that begins when we truly know our purpose.

-Ya kaw taymanghud, ayaw mahinang sabab in pag school mo hika lupa mo ha kamaksuran sin pag papanjari kaymu sin Tuhan mo. Labi luba ayaw mahinang sabab in pag school ika lupa mo pa Tuhan mo, Allah Subhannahu wa taala.

-In hambuuk Muslim student subay paawnun niya ha ginhawa baran niya in ka'Islam, pangaddatan marayaw.

Some of his advice :
(Fear Allah) The fear of Allah, is the only force that can restrain man from evil and wickedness.
Seek knowledge about your deen, it will lead you to straight path.
Ayaw kita magpang balih pangatayan sin taymanghud ta. Magpa tumtum lamma lambut sarta panduan labay dayng ha Quran wa Sunnah.

Statement of FMSA Tawi-Tawi Condemning the gr***de attack incident @ Masjid Jutay, Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City.

In this trying time, where lawless elements are on the lose to spread fear through their savage and inhumane acts, we must go back search for the humanity within us, pray and be united.
The attack is a crystal clear proof that terrorism has no religion and that everyone, anyone can be a target.
We condemn this kind of act. And we are with those who were aggrieved and those we have lost.
Everyone therefore, are enjoined to be vigilant, keep safe and may Allah protect us all.
Let us help one another.

Statement of FMSA Tawi-Tawi on the twin bombings of Cathedral of Mt. Carmel, Jolo, Sulu.

Islam as we know it is a religion of peace. It has always been that way and it will always be.
With this, FMSA Tawi-Tawi, condemns the twin bombings of Cathedral of Mt. Carmel, Jolo, Sulu. Such act of terror, satanic in nature and no religion would tolerate especially Islam, is indeed appalling.
Connecting such act to any religion is baseless and blantant manifestation of ignorance. Peace is promoted by any religion, and Islam is no different.
In this time of sorrow, we what we need is us. Our years of co-existence is a living proof that we are stronger than this. Let us not allow lawless people to sow fear and hatred in our hearts. Let us work together for faster recovery of everybody and let the culprits pay for what they did. Moreover, those who use this incident to advance their agenda, should not be tolerated either. Prayers to everyone. Keep safe.
