LOOK 👀 | Bubong RHU Celebrates Sight Saving Month
Today, the Bubong Rural Health Unit, in partnership with the Municipal Local Government Unit of Bubong, the Ministry of Health through the Non-Communicable Disease Cluster Unit, and the Integrated Provincial Health Office, celebrated Sight Saving Month at the Municipal Gymnasium. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of eye health and to provide crucial services to the local community. Attendees benefited from insightful advocacy on the prevention of eye diseases, the importance of regular eye check-ups, and the overall impact of good vision on daily life and well-being.
The event also featured comprehensive eye screenings, with eyeglasses distributed to those requiring corrective lenses. Additionally, some patients were identified for an upcoming free surgical mission to address cataract and pterygium, providing much-needed care for those with these conditions.
The Bubong Rural Health Unit extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event.
