Patient A, a BHW of San Nicolas BHS and a resident of Brgy. San Nicolas Buenavista Guimaras delivered a healthy Baby B via NSVD today at around 10 am.

All services provided were FREE of charge(Philhealth Member). This includes:
Admission of patient
Laboratory services
Medicines
Initial Immunization( Vitamin K and Hepatitis B)

Early morning sunlight exposure to our newborn babies..

Jaundice is caused by an accumulation of bilirubin in blood. Bilirubin is a yellowish substance that forms after red blood cells breakdown.

When a baby is exposed to sunlight, light waves are absorbed in the baby's skin and blood change bilirubin into products, which can pass through their system.
