Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD has expanded it's CCTP called Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) into high school students aged 14-18 years old, it is hoped that with the expansion of the program, the children-beneficiaries will be able to graduate from highschool and eventually have better oppotunities in the future.
In line with its commitment to holistic child development, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) conducted a Youth Development Session (YDS) for high school beneficiaries in Barangay Bula, May 29, 2024 at Barangay Bula Session Hall and participated with 59 Adolescents.
In an effort to combat the rising issue of teenage pregnancy, the Adolescent Friendly Health Facility (AFHF) of Barangay Bula was invited as a resource speaker for a Teenage Pregnancy Awareness event. The AFHF, under the leadership of Ms. Mary Ann Ando, a registered midwife, has been providing adolescent-friendly health services in the community and has been successful in promoting sexual and reproductive health awareness among teenagers.
