This long journey started when I graduated B.S. Food Technology at the UP Diliman as a pre-med course. After, I studied Doctor of Medicine for 4 years at Jose P Rizal College of Medicine at Xavier University where after passing the Medical Boards, I added an M.D. (Medical Doctor) to my name.
Then I decided to be a specialist and did my Pediatric Residency at the UP Philippine General Hosp (UP PGH) and after passing my orals and written boards, I added DPPS (Diplomate in Phil Pediatric Society) to my name.
After being in practice as a pediatrician, an active member of the society and 6 years of constant, consecutive attendance to pedia conventions, I applied for reclassification from Diplomate to Fellow. After being inducted as a fellow , I added FPPS ( Fellow in the Phil Pediatric Society) to my name.
I then trained more at the UP PGH for subspecialty training in Pediatric Pulmonology. And again after passing the oral and written boards for Pedia Pulmo, I added DPAPP (Diplomate in the Phil Academy of Pediatic Pulmologists). And finally , after practicing as a pediatric pulmonolgist and being an active member in the society and heading the anti-smoking campaign in North Central Mindanao for 3 years, I applied for reclassification to Fellow. And tonight after the Induction Ceremonies, I added FPAPP (Fellow in Philippine Academy Pediatric Pulmonology) to my name. My name is long as it is 😂, but with all my efforts, I am now officially Rose Hyacinth C. Salise, MD, FPPS, FPAPP.🩷

Thank you God for all the blessing, my family for the love and support, my friends for all the understanding and my patients for always making me strive more to be the best Pediatric Pulmonologist that I can be.🩷🩷

All for the service of the Filipino Child. 🩷🩷🩷
