November is FOXG1 Syndrome Awareness Month

FOXG1 syndrome profoundly impacts physical and cognitive abilities. However, ongoing research is focused on understanding its mechanisms and developing treatments to improve the quality of life for those affected.

The International FoxG1 Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting families, facilitating research, and advocating for those affected by FOXG1 syndrome. Their mission includes providing hope, education, and resources to families, as well as raising awareness in the broader community.

Did you know that November is FOXG1 Syndrome Awareness Month? 🦊 FOXG1 syndrome is so rare that only over a thousand cases worldwide have been confirmed when our little Yenyen was diagnosed earlier this year. With the use of genetic testing, more foxes have now been diagnosed and have become part of our very warm FOXG1 community. We even met another fox baby in the Philippines!🧡

We did a few sitting exercises that we think Yenyen enjoyed.🥰

I’m pretty sure Yenyen liked the sweet potato but she vomited a few hours after 🥲 Any food suggestions we can try?

So far we’ve tried the following in a max quantity of 2 teaspoons:
- rice ❌
- sweet potato ❌
- banana ✅
- sayote ✅
