GOUT/RAYUMA

Para maiwasan o makontrol ang gout, mahalaga ang pag-iwas sa mga pagkaing mataas sa purines, dahil ang purine ay nagiging uric acid sa katawan. Narito ang mga pagkaing dapat iwasan o limitahan:

❌ Iwasan o i-minimize:

🥩 Karne at laman-loob
Atay (baka, manok, baboy)
Balunbalunan, bituka
Corned beef, tapa, bacon, hotdog

🐟 Isda at lamang dagat
Sardinas, mackerel, tamban, dilis
Shellfish tulad ng tahong, talaba, halaan, hipon, alimasag

🍻 Inumin
Beer (kahit walang alcohol – mataas pa rin sa purine)
Alcoholic drinks in general (lalo na ang beer at hard liquor)
Mga matamis na soft drinks at juice na may high fructose corn syrup

🍜 Processed at instant foods
Instant noodles
Canned goods na may preservatives
Fast food (madalas maraming purine at asin)

✅ Mga Dapat Gawin:
💧 Uminom ng maraming tubig
At least 8-12 baso kada araw para matulungan ang katawan na mailabas ang uric acid sa ihi.

⚖️ Panatilihin ang tamang timbang
Ang sobrang timbang ay nagpapataas ng uric acid. Magpapayat ng dahan-dahan, huwag biglaan (dahil pwedeng mag-trigger ng gout attack).

🏃 Regular na ehersisyo
Mag-ehersisyo ng 30 minuto sa isang araw, kahit brisk walking lang. Iwasang mapagod nang sobra.

🥗 Kumain ng tama
Bawasan ang karne at lamang-loob.
Umiwas sa pagkaing may mataas na purine.
✅ Puwedeng kainin / inirerekomenda:
Gulay (kahit may purine gaya ng talong, sitaw — okay lang sa tamang dami)
Prutas (lalo na cherries, saging, mansanas)
Tubig (maraming tubig araw-araw para mailabas ang uric acid)
Low-fat dairy (gatas, yogurt)
Whole grains (oatmeal, brown rice)
Nuts at tofu – mas magandang protein source kaysa karne

🍒 Cherries at vitamin C
May ilang pag-aaral na nagsasabing ang cherries at vitamin C ay nakakatulong sa pag-iwas ng gout attacks.
